2015 Cricket World Cup



The 2015 Cricket World Cup will be held in Australia and New Zealand from February 4 to March 29, 2015. ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 Opening Ceremony will be held on Februaru 12 at North Hagley Park, New Zealand.

Initially would be allowed to join the ten pilot countries in the cricket world championship. For the first time in years, all B countries are precluded from qualifying, so the ICC decided shortly after the end of the world cup in 2011.This decision met with much dissatisfaction among players and coaches both the ten test-nations as the excluded associate countries. In June 2011, the ICC decided to allow still four additional countries for the tournament. The decision of the ICC to exclude the B countries initially came possibly come by commercial disaster during the World Cup cricket 2007 where Bangladesh and Ireland in the first round cricket giants India and Pakistan. India and Pakistan are two of the biggest cricket countries.

There are two qualifiers, one of 2011 t / m in 2013 and one in 2014. The top two from each tournament will qualify for the 2015 World Cup.

A total of 14 Teams will Participate in the 2015 Cricket World Cup in two groups or pool. The top and best four teams will qualify for the Quarter-finals of the Cricket World Cup. The last and Final Match of the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 will be held on 29 March at Melbourne Cricket Ground in Australia.
